Consuming and Producing
Social Media bad. Consumerism bad.
I think I don't have what it takes to write up something that can be compelling to readers yet, but the gist of what I wanted to share is that, choosing to pay attention to something is hard for us right now.
Distracted with the artificial stuff social media and the ad trackers made us consume more and envy more. At least that is what I think as someone in early twenties living in dumbfuck nowhere Philippines. To have nothing that gives you something to live for and gets excited for the day, just going by in your usual work, then too tired to be productive on anything so you resort to mindless scrolling and ad trackers farming your data.
Ingested way too many alcohol to say that this lifestyle is soulless and tiring. In a way that makes yourself a little bit more tired than usual, and makes it especially clear that you are not living your moment.
Yes, there is something to be done, and I am still searching for it. If you found yours, good. There are a lot of things in the earth better than just an algorithm in your tiny computer.
